1980 - Clowns Ti-Poi and Poiron

First performed in June 1980 at Le Tampon. Written and directed by : Dominique Attali and Jean-Luc Trulès.

Following on from Ubu Roi the actors wanted to become professionals and develop their skills. Jean-Luc Trulès and Dominique Attali worked in tandem to invent these clowns. They were to create Tropicadero-France together in 1983.

The play

A story about towers, flowers, and exploding hats.


First performed in June 1980 at Le Tampon, performed in Saint Denis during the Indian Ocean Flower Festival, in the island’s schools and at the Barachois. 6 performances in front of a total of 2500 children.
